It took me 2 hours to get into work; 2 hours for a 45 minute journey. So I was a little rattled when I got to work.
However, worse than that… Victoria called me to let me know that our friend Gail has been in a head on collision as she headed home from the school run. I guess it’s a small consolation that her daughter was not in the car. Anyway, hope you are ok Gail! Take it easy, and I hope the neck and back don’t give you too much grief over the next few days.
However, we all know that you didn’t like the Megane; it’s a rather drastic way of getting it replaced! 🙂
Car Accident, Bad Day, Long Journey
Hiya Chris – sorry for not replying earlier but we’ve had computer problems this week.
Anyway, I was mightly relieved that Ellie wasn’t in the car. It’s bad enough as an adult dealing with it all, let alone trying to understand as a 6 year old.
I’ve got some photos of how to enhance a Megane with a Ford Sierra (I’m not sure that I’ll start a trend but you never know!) I’ll try to email them to you but otherwise I’ll show them to you the old fashioned way next week!
I think my problem was cleaning the car – two weeks ago I washed it and the birds used it for target practice, so I washed it again last week and look where it got me – I’ll leave it dirty in future (that’s if they repair it).
Hope you’ve recovered from the quiz nite, and see you on Monday.
Gail
