Nivea for Men on the radio

Nivea for Men
Nivea have a range of adverts for their mens products running on the radio at the moment. I heard one this morning that tickled me so I thought I’d mention it here and give them a few minutes of free ad time on my blog!

In the background you can here the sound of a ZX Spectrum loading a game. The voice over says “Does the sound of Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy loading, tingle your skin… then you need Nivea for Men…” blah blah blah.

The real scarey thing is; I know it wasn’t Manic Miner or Jet Set Willy that was loading – it sounded wrong!

Ads by Google

Ok, I know that Google offer a lot of good services; they are my search engine of choice, things powered by Google Map like Fraprr.com. But I’m getting fed up with their Adsense stuff. I’m not sure who’s problem it is, Google or the person using them, but I am fed up with

them popping up in the most inappropriate places. Look, I’m never going to click on it – out of principal it will never happen! Do’t take up all the top of your page with Ads by Google an leave your content at the bottom – I will never get to your content because I will have left your site! As a rule I can cope with the sky scrapers at the side of the page as they are usually non obtrusive, but not in your content!!!!

Doomdark’s Revenge – Mist

I got the mist from Jure today, so here it is in all it’s glory. I’ve tried to get a few variant shots but the location that mist is in at the beginning isn’t great – and I have no night button working at the moment! The first shot is the opening screen, you will notice compared to the same screenshot posted the other day, the old mist has gone from the bottom right of the terrain, and the new improved one is in place. The other shots show off the mist more dramatically. I also managed to do some work on that bottom left panel for nootropic supplements, not to mention fixing a few UI bugs.
